2006 AMHA Haligonian's Russian Roulette
Bred by Harriett Rubins - thanks for a beautiful chestnut filly!!

At this time she is a bit chubby - and to be honest, the photos don't do her justice

Here she is as a suckling in Summer of 2006:

AMHA/AMHR Nestucca Imabluedoubletrouble - Retired

Troubles is a beautiful solid bay mare with a star and a few white flecks in her haircoat (maybe sabino or roan?). She was foaled in 1987. She is the dam of Double Dare and the granddam of Gorgeous.

Troubles carries the bloodlines of Flying W Farms Blue Boy

We may breed her one more time this year to try to get one last foal - if she doesn't carry this on to term, we will retire her.

AMHR Nationals 2006

Dare's 2004 colt TEN Ls Redi Or Not - owned by Sally Beaumont Lee and Shown by Amelia Lee is the National Champion (1st place out of 8 competitors)  in

Class #20 - Youth , 8 -12 , Halter Jr. Gelding Under

And he was in the Top 10 in another gelding class.

                                            ------------------------------

A smokey black pinto mare. Dare was foaled in 2000.  Bred to a dark bay pinto, in 2003 she produced a dark bay pinto filly. Bred to a solid bay, in 2004 she produced a buckskin pinto filly (see TenLs Patently Gorgeous below) and finally, bred to a different solid bay, in 2005 she produced a solid sorrel colt (see TenLs Redi or Not on the Foals page).
Dare has a long, free swinging stride with considerable hock and knee action. Dare carries the bloodlines of Blue Boy and Ultra New York. Her dam is our mare Nestucca's Imabluedoubletrouble pictured above.

Dare  bred to TenLs Tigers Legacy  produced a gorgeous Palomino colt in 2007. You can see his photos on the FOALS page. We are so pleased with this mating that she is being rebred by Legacy for 2008.

AMHA/AMHR Ten Ls Patently Gorgeous -  SOLD to Ten L Training Center.

Georgie is a 2004 Buckskin pinto. Her dam is Ultra New York Double Dare (see above) and her sire is TenLs Bullets Patent Pending.

Georgie is a bit overweight at the moment, thus I will wait until have her in condition to take current photos. She is an easy keeper and has a wonderful ground covering trot (like her dam, Dare) with some knee and hock action. She has a lovely temperament and is very intelligent.

Now Deceased:

AMHA/AMHR Vermilyea Farms Ultimate Star

Star was a 30 1/2" gray (now white) mare foaled in 1996. She started out black with a star and eventually was 99% white. She is the dam of our dark bay turning gray, gelding LEGEND and also is the dam of Js FHF Pippi Longstocking - a black pinto, turning gray, mare.

Star was a wonderful mover - she had a long, fluid stride with significant hock and knee action for her size. She could cover a lot of ground in a short period of time! Especially for a smaller miniature.

Star carries the bloodlines of Flying W Farms Blue Boy, Flying W Farms Boy Blue, Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King and Rowdy (this also includes Del Teras General Lee, NFC Challengers Rare Find, NFC Egyption Kings Challenger and several Van Huttenest horses.)

Star died in February of 2006 from colitis, peritonitis, hepatitis and from masses in her colon that grew through the colon and connected the liver, the peritonital wall together.

We purchased Star in 2000 from Jones' Mini-Whinnies in Pennsylvania

May she rest in peace.
